NO SURPRISE
My dad’s store is very slowly making it into the twenty-first century. My dad has always been the last person on the planet to get any form of new technology, so it is really no surprise that the store would be the same way. The still run their entire inventory manually and keep it in books, not on computers. I asked my dad if he realized how much time they would save by doing it on computers, and he just scoffed at me. They finally just got a data backup service for all of their applications and other paperwork. They have a computer a the register that the secretaries can fill all of the paperwork out on. It automatically prints a copy, and submits the paperwork to an online database for storage. That way if there is ever an issue with the paperwork, they can just print a new copy off of the database.
